From a police press release:
Conway Police Officers have arrested 20 year old Benjamin Christopher Martin Wheeler of Spartanburg and charged him with Attempt to Commit Criminal Sexual Conduct Third (3rd) Degree in connection with an incident that happened at Moe’s located at 201 Graduate Rd in Conway on Sunday, June 15, 2008.
The victim, a fifteen (15) year old female, reported to police that while she was walking out of the business, Wheeler pulled her back into the business unbuttoned her pants and placed his hands inside her pants and then placed his genitals on her back.
Wheeler went before Judge Jane Mackey this morning for a bond hearing and received a $10,000 surety bond and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
