Wrote an article in today’s paper about Hard Rock Park’s slow first season. We couldn’t say how slow. The park wouldn’t release any attendance figs, and lack of resources means we can’t spend several days counting cars at the park. Plus, we don’t quote anonymous sources - and park employees feel they’ll get fired immediately for talking to us - so there’s a lot of limitations to what we can print.
Anonymous commenters don’t have to play by those rules. Whether you like them or not, or think they should be sued, they’re here and provide some of the most interesting or inane or entertaining copy on the site.
And boy did they unload on this one. They talk about employees’ hours getting cut, the park’s management being incompetent, the whole thing not being worth the ticket price and how awful word-of-mouth reviews are really killing the park.
The funny thing is that reviews, while mixed, are still running on the positive side on many of the personal blogs out there.
