Morality and responsibility walk side by side. Woman has always been the enforcer of morality and holding respect for herself. In nthe sixties woman began freeing herself from the restrictions of morality.
In liberating herself from the old moral code she shed the respect she had for herself, and the respect she she could once demand of man.
Man like all male animals is always sniffing around, and will will most always take anything offered him. As does woman hold little responsibility for her own actions, so will man show little respect for her.
It took but two generations for woman to liberate herself from the power she once held. It would take many generations for her to restore it to herself, and therefore to man. Until she does, she can expect man to take what is offered and then drift off to seek something else available.
